Shawn VanDiver is a civic leader and innovator with over 10 years of experience in organizational leadership, non-profit leadership, people management, government relations, emergency management, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure protection. He is the President and Board Chair of #AfghanEvac, a non-profit organization that coordinates and supports the evacuation and resettlement of Afghan allies and their families.

Shawn works with government leaders at all levels to identify and implement innovative solutions for long-term civic challenges. He is the founder and Executive Director of several national security and veteran-focused organizations and serves on the Boards of Directors of various community groups. He holds multiple degrees and certifications related to his field of expertise and is a Navy veteran. Shawn lives in San Diego, CA with his wife and two children.
